This 38 minute film from Canada was released in 1973 and covers the running of the Fernand Grenier Race. This annual relay race covers sixty-seven kilometers between the villages of La Guadeloupe and Lac Mégantic, Québec. Athletes come from all parts of the province each October to run in this race that often exceedes the five-hour mark. This film captures parts of the race from start to finish and often employs a multi-image techniques to show more than one runner at a time. No commentary is present and the direction came from Jacques Bobet and production from François Séguillon. The National Film Board of Canada maintains this title and it can be requested in either VHS or DVD format.
