Welcome to New York City for this second stop on the Visa Championship Series held on June 2, 2007. Before a sellout crowd there were multiple all-comers meet records being delivered as well as numerous world-leading performances. Ethiopia’s Tariku Bekele held a distance running clinic in the 5,000 meters event. Americans Bernard Lagat and Alan Webb were in fine form when they met in the mile and Tyson Gay comes one step closer to showing his dominance in the 100 meters.
