Conquering Oregon’s Hood To Coast Relay

Documentary
In Production

Director and producer Christoph Baaden is a past Hood to Coast Relay finisher and is now making a documentary of the 2008 race. Starting in the early 1980s, this race is conducted with a team of 12 runners who start at Mt. Hood and finish at the Oregon Coast. 1,000 teams compete each year making this the largest relay in the world. Over 150 hours of race footage, combined with 130 hours of interviews, are being edited to make this documentary. You may learn more about the development of this film at the official movie web site, HoodtoCoastDocumentary.com where they have a teaser trailer available. If you are looking to put together a team for this event, visit the race site at HoodtoCoast.com and be sure to follow the application rules exactly as they sell out on the first day of applications each year (2009 race is sold out, so think plan ahead for the 2010 adventure).
